Welcome to Marine Biology Week!
We're so excited to dive into exploring the ocean with you this week. We will be using this platform to post extra resources each day for you and your child to explore. This includes videos, songs, crafts, learning activities, and websites. Please keep checking back to see what is available, as we will not be sending updates via email. Use your discretion to decide if your child will need help reading or accessing any of these materials.
Here is our Zoom meeting link:
Meeting ID: 712 9626 8457
Today is Monday, July 6, 2020.
The resources for today are posted below.
Watch this video to find out how to become a Marine Biologist!
Animals in the Ocean Song! Sing Along!
Explore this website with a grown-up to learn more about Marine Biology!
Open this file with a grown-up to learn how to see awesome 3D underwater videos!
Today's craft is a jellyfish! Watch the videos to see Ms. Claire model the process for making your jellyfish. We can't wait to see how they turn out!
You might notice that Ms. Claire's jellyfish in Part 2 is different from her jellyfish in Part 1. This is because she made a specialized Part 1 video for each age group. The steps in Part 1 have been modified to be preschool-appropriate.
If you liked today's read-aloud (In One Tidepool) and want to read it again later, here are the pages.
Open this file for a life-skills activity: Painting and washing shells!
Sea Animal Yoga! Move and stretch at home!
