Marine Biology (Ages 3-5) - DAY 3, Wednesday

Welcome to Marine Biology Week!

We're so excited to dive into exploring the ocean with you this week. We will be using this platform to post extra resources each day for you and your child to explore. This includes videos, songs, crafts, learning activities, and websites. Please keep checking back to see what is available, as we will not be sending updates via email. Use your discretion to decide if your child will need help reading or accessing any of these materials.

The resources for today are posted below.

Watch this video to explore the deepest part of the sea in a submarine!

The deepest point on earth is called the Mariana Trench. Watch to find out what creatures live there.

What animals live in the deep dark zones?

One amazing animal from the Trench and Abyss zones is the Angler Fish! Click here to find out why it's so cool!

Here is an extra craft for you to try using some items from your mystery box and some from home! You can make a Sea Urchin! A Sea Urchin lives in many different zones!
